BirthVoice is a place where a woman can come and feel safe and supported. A place where she can express her fears, concerns, anxiety, joys, all the various feelings she experiences during this amazing time in her life: being pregnant. Your voice is heard and respected it is safe to verbalize your feelings.
It is a meeting place where pregnant women join with other pregnant women dealing with similar issues, knowing they are not alone. BirthVoice offers information, encouragement, and support- not scare tactics and misinformation- to empower women to achieve what she desires.
We offer powerful visual aids by means of video showings of natural births, both from world renowned birth advocates Suzanne Arms and Frederick Leboyer. The experience of viewing these videos as well as attending our intimate monthly meetings are vital in connecting women to their inner wisdom, their inner voice, and their intuitive knowledge, enabling a pregnant woman to fully trust her body. This trust and inner connection empowers her to have the optimal birth for her and her baby.
We at BirthVoice come from various backgrounds and experiences. This helps us to better understand each pregnant woman in a unique and personal way. We are mothers with various birth experiences both here in Greece and abroad. We are midwives, doctors, doulas (women in service to women) and La Leche League leaders.
We meet on the fourth Wednesday morning of each month in Kifissia. Evening meetings can also be arranged.
